Self-Centering & Shelf Pin Bits |
![]() |
Drilling accurate hinge-screw pilot holes is not an easy task. More often than not the holes are off center and the screws go in crooked. These self-centering bits eliminate this problem. They feature a conical nosepiece that guides the drill to make a perfectly centered piliot hole. If the nosepiece becomes clogged with wood shavings simply loosen the bit casing by hand and the clogged shavings will come out.
The Shelf Pin drill guides work on the same principal as the self-centering bits with a 3/8" nose to fit standard shelf pin jigs and a brad point drill bit for sharp clean cut holes. All self centering bit guides feature a ΒΌ" hex shank design for ultimate grip and work great in with your Quick Change Chuck. |
